Delete Your Drone Park Account
This page explains how to request that your Drone Park account
and the data associated with it are deleted, what data is removed, and what (if anything) is kept.
1. Delete your account directly in the app (recommended)
- Open the Drone Park Android app.
- Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the map.
- Tap Options.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Re-enter your password when prompted (this confirms it is really you).
- Confirm the deletion. Your account will be removed immediately.
2. Request deletion by email
If you have lost access to your account or cannot complete the in-app flow, you can also
write to us at support@dronepark.bg from the email
address linked to your account. We will process the request within 30 days.
What data is deleted
- Your account (email address and Firebase Authentication record).
- Your profile (chosen pilot nickname and avatar).
- Your bookmarks.
- Your reviews and ratings.
- All flying spots you created, including any photos you uploaded for them.
- Any reports you submitted.
- Your blocked-pilots list.
What may be kept
- Anonymised aggregate data (for example, total spot counts) may be retained because it is no longer linked to you.
- Backups held by our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase) may retain
copies of deleted data for up to 30 days before being permanently purged, as
part of standard disaster-recovery rotation.
- Records we are required by law to keep (for example, abuse reports tied to a Terms-of-Service violation) may be retained for as long as legally required.
Retention summary
- Account & profile: deleted immediately on request.
- User-generated content (spots, reviews, photos): deleted immediately on request.
- Backups: automatically purged within 30 days.
